Worship

Wednesday Family Service: 6:00 p.m.
(September through March)

People of all ages attend, but our midweek service is designed with young families in mind. The evening begins with a meal served from 4:45 until worship begins at 6:00. The service itself is about 40 minutes long and is followed by a time of faith formation that will build on the theme introduced in worship. On Wednesdays, participation is a priority. You’ll find children helping with many aspects of worship. Music is led by a diverse worship band that includes a surprising collection of instruments and musicians of all ages.

Saturday Service: 5:30 p.m.

Our Saturday service is a quiet, casual gathering that follows a relaxed version of the traditional Lutheran liturgy with hymns led on a piano.

Sunday Service:
9:00 a.m.

Our Sunday service is our largest service that features traditional hymns played on our pipe organ, special music by the Sanctuary Choir, the Handbells Choir, Joyful Noise or Kid’s Choir, as well as a children’s message and an occasional puppet skit. During the program year, worship is followed by Sunday school for children and a Bible class for adults.

Music is an important part of our services and a great opportunity for you to share your musical gifts. For more information on the musical ensembles, we have at SCLC click the link below.
